Profile

In service since 1991 at the Department of Chemical Science and Technologies, from 1997 she works with the group led by Prof. S.Licoccia on the study of new preparative strategies of organic and organometallic substrates used for synthesis of porphyrins and corroles and dealing with the preparation of all substrates and complexes of transition metals with macrocyclic tetrapyrrolic and biomimetic compounds, taking care of the purification processes and quality controls on synthetic products, optimizing the preparative procedures and analytical aspects, to pharmaceutical and industrial interest applications.

Skills

Cadia deals with the management, maintenance and support to all research activities of the group (synthesis and processing), supervises the laboratories and all the scientific instrumentation:

- SEM Analysis;

- Thermogravimetry (TG ), Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA);

- Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC);

XRD Analysis.
