Research activity

The research activity is aimed at the development of metal oxides for applications in Reversible Solid Oxide Cells (RSOCs), Solid Oxide Electrolyzers, Intermediate Temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFCs) fed by different fuels. The focus is on the investigation of structure, microstructure, electrochemical properties and catalytic activity of materials.

His work has been carried out in collaboration with national and international groups, led by Prof. Ana C. Tavares (Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Montréal), Prof. Nan Yang (ShanghaiTech University), Prof. Isabella Natali Sora (Università degli studi di Bergamo), Prof. Marta Boaro (Università di Udine) and Dr Igor Luisetto (ENEA).
